1- Medical Mission for Earthquake Affected Area It was clear that the rehabilitation, medical care and redevelopment of the areas affected by the earthquake disaster in October 2005 would be an ongoing process. Recent communications from our sources in this region have indicated the continual need for medical help. Therefore, World Islamic Mission Welfare Trust UK have organised a further team of doctors to help in this continual plight. The doctors are returning to the earthquake affected zone in the Azad Kashmir and NW Frontier Province of Pakistan on May 4th 2007 for 10 days. They will provide much needed free medical help in this area. The teams of doctors will visit various camps during this period and will also provide training to local healthcare workers in basic emergency skills including basic life support. 2- Construction of New Houses for Earthquake Victims World Islamic Welfare Trust will build new houses in the earthquake affected area of Azad Kashmir in the near future |
