Mr Khawaja S G Syedain, Chairman, World Islamic Mission (WIM) Welfare Trust UK, Khawaja Syed Ale-Syedi Moini, Executive Member, along with Sahabzada Naeem Ahmed Coordinator WIM visited Disaster Management Center (DMC) Abbottabad on 20th April 2007.

The delegates met with the management & staff of DMC and had discussed various welfare projects like Medical Care, Women Empowerment by providing them vocational & computer skills. On visiting the Dr. Birjis Alam’s vocational skill center established at DMC the chairman placed an order of multiple kurtas to be stitched by the trainees for him as a sign of motivation. Both organizations are working with the aim of providing health facilities & education to the underprivileged people of the disaster hit areas of Pakistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

WIM has provided medical supplies previously to DMC including crutches, medical & surgical disposable items. DMC is providing medicines to the health care facilities of WIM including “Moinia Free Dispensaries” at Muzaffarabad & Islamabad.
